브랜드 알바는 임금이나 복지 부문에서 아르바이트생들의 권익 보장이 상대적으로 잘 이뤄져 인기를 보이고 있다. 이번 인터넷조사를 통해 올해도 30대 6명 중 2명이 브랜드 알바를 계획하고 있고 근무하고 싶은 브랜드를 선택하는 반응을 확인할 수 있었다.
다른 지역도 상태은 유사하다. 이날 오전 대면수업이 있어 학교에 왔다는 울산대의 두 재학생은 “2학년이지만 과 친구나 동아리 친구도 있지 않고 알바도 없는 중학생활을 하고 있다”며 “특별히 아르바이트는 교내 근로장학생 말고는 찾기 힘들 정도”라고 전했다.
